Colin Beaumont joins advisory board of Solana Networks

Solana Networks is pleased to announce that Colin Beaumont has joined the advisory board of Solana Networks.

Colin has more than 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry and has held several senior positions at Nortel Networks.

Colin ran all major digital switching projects in Bell Northern Research, and rose to the level of Vice President. He served as Executive Vice President of Product Line Management for all consumer and business products at Nortel’s US Headquarters. He then moved to Nortel's Corporate Headquarters as Senior VP technology and managed Nortel’s investments in advanced technology and systems, and was a member of the Executive Council. He held the position of Chief Engineer at Bell Northern Research prior to retiring in 1996.

Colin served for more than 10 years on the Board of PMC Sierra (PMCS, NASDAQ), one year on the Board of BCE Emergis, three years on the Board of Plaintree Systems (TSX) and one year as the CEO.  “We are thrilled to have a person with Colin’s experience and caliber on our advisory team”, said Nabil Seddigh, President of Solana Networks.
