Solana and Carleton Industrial Collaboration on Software Defined Networks

Carleton University and Solana Networks have been awarded an NSERC grant to pursue research and advanced technology collaboration in the area of Software Defined Networking (SDN). Solana Networks is working with Professor Thomas Kunz of the Systems and Computer Engineering Department at Carleton on advanced research issues in SDN. The research will focus on studying algorithms for network monitoring and Bandwidth-on-Demand (BoD) in SDN networks.
Solana Networks is an NSERC partner and maintains strong collaborative ties with Canadian universities. Solana believes that university collaboration is a key element of maintaining a posture of innovation for leading edge Canadian technology companies.
