Solana Presents at GovTech Cyber Security Summit
Solana Networks was pleased to participate in the GovTech Cyber Security summit held at the University of Ottawa on Tuesday 19 February.
The summit featured presentations and displays from a number of Canada's innovative Cyber Security companies including Solana Networks. The GovTech Summit Series is designed to facilitate regular interaction between the public sector and specific industries aligned with federal government priorities. The theme of this first summit was Canadian cyber security, and it featured 12 Canadian cyber companies. The conference featured keynote speeches from a former director of the Canadian Federal Government as well as from VMWare.
The Solana Networks presentation highlighted the company's products/solutions and their application to address specific cyber security challenges faced by the Government of Canada. Specific note was made of the TrafficWiz solution which uses machine learning to detect underlying applications in encrypted traffic.
Reflecting on the event, Nabil Seddigh who gave the presentation on behalf of Solana Networks said: "Canada's strong tradition of R&D was on display today. The companies we heard from today are using innovative solutions to solve real-world business problems".
